Self-Service Business Intelligence with MS PowerPivot

PowerPivot is an exciting new technology from Microsoft that enables users to collect, combine and analyze information from different sources, it will enable non IT personnel to make meaning of their own data. This is often called Self Service BI, Self service BI from Microsoft consists of PowerPivot for Excel 2010 and PowerPivot for SharePoint 2010. This presentation will show you both parts from architecture to demo and why we need PowerPivot in an organization.
Using a real world business case we will walk through the development of a PowerPivot application, importing and combining large datasets, working with advanced calculations using DAX and visualizing the data using pivottables and pivotcharts. Then share it to the end users using SharePoint 2010.
